This is very useful as the software to go for schools and students. Having professional-grade software ranging from free to full-paid with advanced options is a killer. I really love how DaVinci is able to accommodate all kind of projects and workflows. Which is something that you cannot say of other software. It is not a class of teaching the tool, but a class of using a tool for media creation. I do have to point out, though, that figuring issues out for yourself would be much harder without a background in film editing. The times when I have gotten stuck, I was able to figure it out searching online forums.
